BIO-MICRONEEDLING, WHAT IS IT? Watch the video
Liquid Bio Micro-needling harnesses the unique properties of sponge spicules,
which are tiny, siliceous micro-needles extracted from freshwater sponges. These
micro-needles possess a remarkable ability to stimulate the skin cells, triggering
microcirculation on the skin's surface. Through this process, active ingredients
are effectively delivered deep within the skin.
Under a microscope, sponge spicules resemble sharp rod crystals, though they
are barely visible to the naked eye. During a Liquid Bio Microneedling session,
approximately 3 to 5 million of these natural siliceous microneedles are gently
massaged into the dermal layer, a process taking a mere 5-10 minutes. This
treatment accelerates the skin cycle from 28 days to just 7 days by activating
skin cells, enhancing skin metabolism, and promoting collagen production for
smoother, more youthful skin.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
To better understand how Bio Micro-needling actually works, let’s break it down
into three phases:
Phase 1: The gentle massage introduces 3 to 5 million siliceous micro-needles
into the dermis and epidermis, stimulating the skin for up to 72 hours before
naturally shedding. This process creates millions of micro-channels within
minutes, promoting cell turnover and enhancing the absorption of topical
skincare products by up to 3,000%!
Phase 2: Basal cells are activated, leading to the production of new skin cells
that push older cells towards the surface for exfoliation.
Phase 3: Collagen production, proliferation and remodelling occur. The
implantation of spicules creates a wound-healing cascade that replaces
damaged skin with new dermal tissues and blood vessels, effectively remodelling
the skin.
